Creating Opportunities is a mobile speech pathology service located in the Newcastle area.
The brief for this project was to create a logo that includes calming colours, such as variations of blue and purple tones.
Additionally, the client requested the incorporation of imagery to symbolise the nature of their services.
I began by sketching a variety of logo concepts using speech and thought bubbles as my main motifs and playing around with the word “creative” for visual interest. Creating Opportunities has a wide client demographic and as a result the client was drawn away from playful to a more professional appearance.
Once the client was happy with the general layout design of the logo I began recreating the logo digitally, being careful to choose a font that was easy to read across a wide audience.
Originally, the logo was intended to be purple and pink in appearance, however, we agreed that adding a more playful complimentary colour to the mix, such as a pink, could create an interesting and attractive visual effect.
